1. Overview

Spectati includes or depends on third-party software components that are licensed under separate open-source or third-party terms. Those licenses continue to apply to the relevant components and are not replaced or narrowed by the Spectati EULA.

This page is the public notice surface for third-party software, including the source-availability information required for each distributed Spectati build.

2. FFmpeg notice

Spectati includes libraries from the FFmpeg project in all distributed builds. FFmpeg is licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License version 2.1 (LGPLv2.1).

Spectati does not modify FFmpeg. The FFmpeg source code shipped in every Spectati build is the official, unmodified FFmpeg release available directly from the FFmpeg project at ffmpeg.org/download.html. No patches or local modifications have been applied to FFmpeg by Spectati.

  • Source: official unmodified FFmpeg release – ffmpeg.org/download.html
  • No patches or local modifications applied by Spectati
  • License: GNU Lesser General Public License v2.1 – gnu.org/licenses/old-licenses/lgpl-2.1.html
  • Copyright: FFmpeg developers and contributors – ffmpeg.org/legal.html

3. Source-availability process

Because Spectati ships FFmpeg without modification, LGPL source availability is satisfied by the official FFmpeg project releases at ffmpeg.org/download.html.

For questions about the specific FFmpeg version bundled in a particular Spectati build, contact [email protected].

4. Additional third-party components

Other Spectati dependencies may also be licensed under MIT, Apache-2.0, BSD, or other open-source licenses. Where required, Spectati provides the applicable attribution, copyright, and license text with the relevant build or distribution package.

5. No override of third-party rights

Nothing in Spectati's terms, EULA, or technical restrictions limits rights granted by an applicable third-party or open-source license. If there is a conflict between Spectati's EULA and a third-party license for a component, the third-party license controls for that component.
